Follow these instructions to upgrade your Arescom NetDSL 1060
Router to the most recent firmware revision.
1) Follow the instructions in the Arescom manual to establish
the initial connection to the Arescom NDS1000 configuration interface using your
web browser. NeTrack recommends that you use the network interface instead of
the USB interface for this purpose.
2) You will be prompted for a login and password. Use
the router name "netrack-gw" and password that is your Netrack account number
you entered when you configured the Arescom.
3) Click on the Advanced button in the upper right corner, and
then click on the Upgrade tab at the top of the Arescom configuration screen.
4) Enter the FTP Server IP Address of 206.168.112.1 and File
Name as nds1060hue.bin as shown in the example below. Click the submit button.
The Arescom should establish an FTP connection to
the Netrack file server, download the new firmware, load it into the Arescom and
then reboot the Arescom.
When the process has completed, connect to the
web management interface of the Arescom again and check the Status page. It
should show Firmware Version number as 6.0.31.
