
3) Click the Save button. Then you will need to
reconnect your browser to the Arescom router. You will be prompted for a
login and password. Use the router name and password from step 2.
4) Click on the PVCs tab. In PVC1, set the
encapsulation to "PPPoA LLC" and enter
VPI 0 and VCI 32. Leave the username and password blank. (If your DSL service
has been active with a Qwest reseller ISP since before April 2001, you will
instead enter VPI 1 and VCI 1.) Then click the Submit button.

5) Click on the PVCs tab again and then the Advanced Settings button. Enter the IP address assigned to you by NeTrack as the
NAT IP address and the NAT Pool IP address. The IP address shown in the picture
below
is only an example. Be sure to enter the IP address provided to you.Then click the Submit button.

5) Click on the PVCs tab again and then the More
Advanced Settings button. Enter the IP address assigned to you by NeTrack as the
WAN IP address and set the WAN Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.255. The IP address shown in the picture
below
is only an example. Be sure to enter the IP address provided to you. Then click the Submit button.

The configuration of your Arescom NDS1000 router
is complete. All the computers on your local area network should be have their
network properties configured to "obtain IP address
dynamically." No other configuration is necessary.
If you wish to view the status of the connections
on the Arescom NDS1000 router, click on the Status tab. The Arescom takes a few
seconds to establish a WAN link. So look for a solid green WAN link light before
checking the status. Verify the IP Address show in the PPP section of the status
page is the IP address you entered above.
